The Lord is good to ALL...

“The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.” - Psalm 145:9

How true I have found this verse to be! He is indeed good to all... He is SO good to me. I see His goodness through His works in my life. Do I always see His workings to be good in the midst of Him doing the work? No... quite often I don't understand how they are for my good, but I must rest in HIM and trust that He is faithful and that He will work it out for my good. I trust that when I am through I can say, “Marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” - Psalm 139:14b

I have learned that putting my trust in Him is always best. I have learned that His love for me is greater than I can ever imagine, and because of that love He will ever be my guide and protector. I have found that when I trust Him, who loves me, I am safe from all harm. “How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.” - Psalm 36:7

“O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” - Psalm 34:8 I have tasted of the Lord's goodness in my life – time and time again! He has never failed me in the past and I know that He will not fail me now. I have found Him to be worthy of ALL my trust, at ALL times, and in ALL things.. “Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.” - Psalm 62:8

Though I meet with trials that are hard, a test to my faith, and shake my trust in Him, when I remember His goodness, His love, His mercy, and His grace, I can press on! When I remember that His works in my life are because of His goodness, I can praise the Lord for His every working in my life. I can say, “Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men.” - Psalm 107:8
